Before I get too deep, I want to thank all of you again who’ve subscribed and patronized this strange little experiment. I enjoyed serializing The Retrievers and hope you enjoyed the read, as well as the odd bits and bobs of stories and essays I’ve thrown up here.

Some are crazy, and conspiratorial, some are boring, and I found some that are brilliant and challenging, and I treasure them, because they have viewpoints not available elsewhere. Don’t let the modern bluenoses try to control speech; let writers and readers engage in what is really an open marketplace of ideas. People are smart enough to read and decide for themselves what to support. Plus, I like the idea of you publishing serially, in a modern fueilleton. Feels very 19th century.
